High Visco-Elasticity and High Moldability

High viscoelasticity and high moldability are two of LifDerma’s stand-out properties. This malleable consistency creates immediate and long-lasting volume, allowing the product to break down evenly with a natural finish. Lifderma’s fillers are both long-lasting and easy to remove when needed.

Fillers with high viscoelasticity and cohesion stick to the finger while others with weak viscoelasticity break away. LifDerma’s excellent viscoelasticity and cohesion result in less flow and enhanced mouldability.

Revolutionary Multi Cross-Linking Structure

Cross-linking improves the Hyaluronic Acid (HA) mechanical properties by using a linking agent to chemically modify the HA's structure in order to create a stable three-dimensional hydrogel. However, BDDE the most commonly used crosslinking agent for HA dermal fillers available in the market, does not fully cross-link HA to other HA molecules, resulting in the pendant effect. LifDerma uses Divinyl Sulfone (DVS) as its cross-linking agent. The combination of LifDerma’s MDM® technology and DVS eliminates the pendant effect by creating a COMPLETE cross-linking structure.

At the molecular level, DVS is lighter and shorter than BDDE. Furthermore, DVS requires approximately three times fewer atoms to bridge the HA molecules compared to BDDE. Despite its smaller size, DVS binds to the entirety of HA, enabling complete cross-linking and resulting in reduced swelling after the treatment. This leads to faster and better results with fewer side effects. Due to its smaller size and the fewer atoms involved, DVS is completely absorbed by the human body, leaving no residual effects. Ultimately, DVS binding enhances mechanical stability and resistance to enzymatic degradation in HA gel, ensuring long-lasting results.

Stringent Quality Checks

Stringent quality checks remove traces of the cross-linking agent DVS from the finished product, through a rigorous dialysis process.

High Purity Hyaluronic Acid

Lifderma is made from a high-purity hyaluronic acid (HA) that is 100% non-animal tested. As Hyaluronic Acid, one of the most powerful hydrating ingredients in the world, occurs naturally in the body, LifDerma can perfectly synchronise with skin tissue, offering natural-looking sculpted results. The combination of the complete cross-linking and the multi-level purification process through LifDerma’s MDM® technology results in a filler with limited side effects associated with stability.

Boasting outstanding hydration properties, hyaluronic acid (HA) molecules are considered extremely hydrophilic and biochemically able to retains large amounts of water. One gram of HA can bind up to 6 litres of water, up to 1,000 times their own weight, thereby keeping our tissues hydrated and plumped. By also having immunological tolerance, HA assists in the regeneration of collagen. Last but not least, Hyaluronic acid can also strengthen the skin's natural barriers to ward off and minimize damage caused by excess sun exposure, environmental pollution, and smoking. The ideal combination of hydration, protection, and collagen stimulation for moisturizing, plumping and protecting the skin.

LifDerma Dermal Fillers Are Not Suitable for:
  • Individuals with a known allergy and or hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid or related substances.
  • Areas with active skin infections and or inflammation.
  • Patients with autoimmune diseases like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis should consult with their healthcare provider before using hyaluronic acid.
  • It's generally not recommended to use hyaluronic acid shortly after other cosmetic procedures like laser treatments, derma-abrasion procedures, and chemical peels.
  • Women who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Patients taking blood-thinning medications may experience increased bruising and bleeding at the injection site.
  • Individuals who have experienced complications from hyaluronic acid injections in the past.
  • Underage Individuals: Hyaluronic acid treatments are typically not recommended for individuals under a certain age, as their facial structure is still developing.
  • Patients who tend to develop hypertrophic scarring.
  • Always consult with a qualified healthcare professional before undergoing any cosmetic procedure involving hyaluronic acid to ensure it is safe and suitable for your specific circumstances.
